Excellent member and community engagement for a club in its first year. There is room to build on this with a wider range of fundraising activities.

Membership
Our largest source of income. Membership numbers have a direct impact on the club's finances.
Court hire & umpiring
Our largest area of expenditure, and the cost that most needs managing.
Income diversity
Growing sponsorship and fundraising gives the club income streams beyond membership.
In short
A positive financial base is established. The opportunities above are how we build greater resilience on top of it.

Looking ahead: next season

Remove Head Coach from the elected committee

Section 6.1 — as amended “The officers of the Club shall be: Chair, Vice-Chair, Head Coach, Secretary, Treasurer, Safeguarding and Welfare Officer, Social Media Officer. The Senior members of this committee are the Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.”
Why
The Head Coach role does not sit naturally alongside the other committee positions.
It requires specific qualifications
The other officer roles do not.
It should be the committee's call
Who coaches the club is a decision for the executive committee, at its discretion.
It should not need an annual vote
Continuity in coaching matters more than a yearly election.

Add section 6.4: appointing the Head Coach

Section 6.4 — new The role of Head Coach will be appointed by the executive committee. The members will not vote on the appointment of the coach. The coach will be expected to attend committee meetings and will have a vote in matters directly relating to playing opportunities. If the Head Coach holds another position on the executive committee then they will only get one vote in all matters.

The executive committee appoints the Head Coach. Members do not vote on it.
Still at the table
The coach attends committee meetings and votes on matters directly relating to playing opportunities.
One person, one vote
A coach who also holds a committee position gets a single vote in all matters.
